Probabilistic Color Modelling of Clothing Items

Color modelling and extraction is an important topic in fashion. It can help build a wide range of applications, for example, recommender systems, color-based retrieval, fashion design, etc. We aim to develop test models that extract the dominant colors clothing accessory items. The approach we propose has three stages: (1) Mask-RCNN segment items, (2) cluster into predefined number groups, (3) combine detected based on hue scores probability each score. use Clothing Co-Parsing ModaNet datasets evaluation. also scrape images from WWW our discover color trend. Subjectively, were able even when items have multiple colors. Moreover, are along with them appearing clothes. method provide baseline drive more advanced systems.
